Affiliated organizations

	FIFA -- The Fédération Internationale de Football Association is the world-wide governing body for association football ("soccer"). FIFA organizes the World Cup, the Olympic soccer tournament, and other international competitions. It also establishes the playing rules ("Laws of the Game") and other regulations governing organized soccer competition throughout the world.
	US Soccer -- The United States Soccer Federation is the national governing body under FIFA for soccer in the United States. US Soccer is responsible for the US national teams; national championship tournaments; Major League Soccer; referee training and certification; and oversight of youth soccer and adult amateur soccer programs.
	US Youth Soccer -- The United States Youth Soccer Association is the branch of US Soccer dealing with youth soccer activities throughout the country.
	Mass Youth Soccer -- The Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association is the state affiliate of US Youth Soccer and is headquartered in Lancaster, MA. Mass Youth Soccer oversees the various state tournaments and competitive leagues in Massachusetts; sponsors select teams for elite players; and provides coaching and administrative support to the local clubs.
	BAYS -- The Boston Area Youth Soccer (BAYS) league is one of several regional leagues in the state for geographic-based town team competition.
